Daycare and Playgroup Curriculum (5months – 2.5 years)

Kadosh daycare offers a carefully planned curriculum that blends engaging activities with environmental awareness. Children learn and grow through play, art (painting and coloring), and social interaction, which encourage exploration, creativity, and essential skill development. These experiences build fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and social-emotional maturity, setting a strong stage for future learning.

Our curriculum draws inspiration from the Early Learning Matters (ELM) Framework, with activities organized into two developmental age groups:

5months to 1.5 years
1.5 years to 2.5 months

Children are encouraged to actively pursue their interests through guided play experiences.

The foundation level for infants and toddlers emphasizes development in five key areas.

1. Communication & Language

  • Develop listening and understanding skills (receptive language)
  • Express thoughts, needs, and ideas clearly (expressive language)
  • Recognize and understand print, symbols, and pictures
  • Identify and distinguish between different sounds in speech

2. Cognitive Development

  • Explore and investigate objects and their properties (object inquiry)
  • Apply thinking skills to solve problems and complete tasks

3. Self-Regulation

  • Demonstrate self-control and manage impulses
  • Focus attention and maintain concentration during activities
  • Develop early executive function skills, including planning and decision-making

4. Social & Emotional Well-Being

  • Build positive relationships through social interaction
  • Recognize, name, and appropriately respond to emotions

5. Physical Health & Development

  • Strengthen large muscle groups through movement and play (gross motor)
